Who we are: The Entropy GmbH is Doreen Wernicke and Kevin Phelan. We are physicists and we each have more than 10 years in-depth experience at the cutting-edge of professional, ultra-low temperature physics. Our experience covers a very large area of the cryogenics world and we have the knowledge and capability to design and manufacture manytypes of ultra-low temperature systems. We are experts in the fi eld of dry cryogenics including ADRs, Dilution Refrigerators, He3/ He4 Sorption coolers and 4K/77K cooling systems. Our experience covers a wide range of cryogenic applications including ultralow temperature experiment design, SQUID applications, optical applications, superconducting detectors, soft x-ray detection and spectroscopy, digital signal processing, analysis and optimisation for ultra-low noise, high-resolution measurements.
What we do: We develop specialised, highly-customised cryogenic systems for various temperature ranges and applications. We will also help you to specify your needs and design your experiment and integrate the cryostat into your laboratory. We will design and build your machine, test it to the agreed specifi cations, deliver and install it. All of our systems will come completely automated and include full data and system logging and remote access.
How we work: We will discuss your needs with you, examining every experimental aspect in order to reach the optimal solution. We offer support and consultancy during every step of the project and beyond.
You will be offered in-house training on your machine with us in Munich and on-site training in your laboratory during the installation.
